Zimbabwe: where everything seems possible
Zimbabwe is a spectacular travel experience and, thanks to the recent revival of its economy and tourism, it has again become a major animal observatory immensely popular with safari lovers.
Whenever you set foot in Zimbabwe, you are astonished again and again by the abundance and diversity of its attractions. Not just because it is the homeland – with Zambia – of Victoria Falls, one of the wonders of the world, but also because of the astonishing number of national parks.
Everything seems possible in this marvellous country: a canoe safari amidst the hippos at Mana Pools National Park, a walk to see the lions at Matusadona National Park and the company of rhinos in the Matobo Hills.
Zimbabwe, with its wealth of magnificent vistas, is blessed by two important waterways: the broad Zambezi River, at the border with Zambia, that generates the extraordinary Victoria Falls, and the Limpopo, which rises in the Highveld as the natural boundary with South Africa, and is characterized by its mild climate and the wide variety of habitats.
