Flying safaris

With a flying safari, you can enjoy the thrill of exploring the heart of Africa at low altitude, grasping its wild nature and boundless horizons. You can easily move from one lodge or camp to the next, saving time, but the most unique aspect is that, above the air, you get a different viewpoint of uncommon landscapes.

Planes are the most common means of transport to move from lodge to lodge on a travel itinerary, and helicopters can be used to reach the most remote areas and land anywhere, from the summit of Mount Kenya to the lava lake of Erta Ale.

A hot-air balloon – a silent and ancient means of transport – is a way to enjoy a more meditative experience, flying just a few hundred metres from the ground, for a bird’s-eye view of the scenery and the slow pace of African life.
